About Us

We have been working through the Tamilnadu Field Archery Association for the past 12 years and since last year we have formed the Tamilnadu Indoor Archery Association our Association has been recognized by the national Indoor Archery Association.

It was launched based on our 12 years of experience.Till date archery is played only In the open field but through our association we are going to conduct indoor archery Competitions to explain the many benefits of indoor archery.

• This game can be started in all school s as it requires less space(space required for training is only 85 feet long and 30 feet wide)
• Due to the use Of a less powerful bow,it is more safe and less expensive so many people can willingly participate in this sport
• Able to participate in regular training and competitions in all weather conditions.
• Due to the short distance the students will get the ability to participate in the Competition in a short period of time moreover. as less space is required to hold theCompetition, many people will come forward to hold the competition more often, thus,they will get more experience to participate in the competition, therefore, many talented students can be created.
• Due to the short distance. less time cultivation is enough. so students will have more time for studying, learning archery will reduce the distraction greatly and thus they will be able to excel in student as well.
• This environment can make them great archers and this experience can make them great player in outdoor archery later on.
• Our indoor archery was included in the National School Education Games and a training session for it was held in March2022.Therefore new sports are going to be introduced by the National School games federation from this year on the basis of enrollment.
• A request for special recognition to our association has already been submitted to the president of the Tamil Nadu Olympic Association and is under consideration.
• Our Association is currently functioning in 22 districts in Tamil Nadu.
• Outdoor Archery has been recognized in Tamil Nadu for the past 3 years and TamilNadu has not won a single medal in any of recognized national competitions In the 65Th National Field Indoor Archery competition held by the National School Education Department in 2019 our Tamil Nadu students won a total of 28 medals andOpened the first page of the Tamil Nadu history book(Gold-4,Silver-7, Bronze-17)
